JTange song and lyrics align the total Lunar Eclipse and 16mm film with budding flowers.

The music video engages with elements of our environment during the celestial alignment.

Budding flowers were filmed with Black and White reversal 16mm film on the day of the Lunar Eclipse.

During that Lunar cycle, the reel was eco-processed with the budding flowers’ petals.

In the sound of JTange, montage interlaced the digital transfer with the time-lapse of the Lunar Eclipse.

The Peace of Swim Teams (2025) – 4 min 35sec

A multiplicity of handmade film processes are enacted towards reproductions of 16mm film segments. Hence, the film itself becomes a refrain, to communicate the historical recurrence. Also, re-enacts a return to a meditative state in unison when despair for the world grows. Inspired by "Israeli and Palestinian Youth Swam At The Same Pool. Then Came Oct. 7" published at The Seattle Times, 11/15/2023 Hand-painted Cyanotype on 16mm is animated by the movement of the water at Lake Union, Seattle. Collage of autumn leaves on 16mm leader is contact printed manually on 16mm color reversal. Then, the digital transfer is edited to create the final film. An evocation of the poem "The Peace of Wild Things" by Wendell Berry.
